The ingredients needed to make Turmeric-Basil Tea:
  1. Take 2.5 cups distilled water
  2. Make ready 1/4 tsp turmeric powder organic
  3. Take 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  4. Prepare 1/2 inch ginger
  5. Make ready 1 tsp tea leaves/ 2 tea bag
  6. Take 1 tsp honey optional
  7. Take 1 tsp lemon juice optional
Steps to make Turmeric-Basil Tea:
  1. Everything keep reach to your hand.
  2. Skin out ginger. Put water to boiled and add grated ginger and boil for 1 min.
  3. Add crushed basil leaves and let it boiled more for 1-2 mins untill you get nice aroma of ginger and basil. Now add your favourite tea and cook as per your tea instruction. My tea leaves after putting into water do not need to boiled. So after putting tea I covered with lid for 2 mins.
  4. Then you strain the tea and add lemon honey and turmeric. Stir and drink.
  5. If you have tea bag then first basil ginger water strained into cups then add tea bags for 2 mins. Remove the tea bags from cups and add turmeric, honey and lemon. Stir and drink.
