- Cut Bottle Gourd into small pieces with the skin on. Boil them with Turmeric powder for about 10 minutes. After done, spread them on a clean and a dry plate to dry up completely. In the meantime, add all the rest of the ingredients to a clean and a sterilised glass jar. After the Bottle Gourd pieces dry up fully, add them to the jar and shake vigorously.
