  2. Now take one spoon of batter, spread it on the tawa. Sprinkle the onions mixture. Cover and cook on slow flame, drop a spoon of oil on the sides. Add butter over the uttapa and then turn it upside down. Cook on the other side also. When done serve with coconut chutney.
