  14. Take 1/4 cup Dark soy sauce ( I use reduced salt soy when cooking for the kids)
  15. Take 1 -2" of Fresh Ginger
  16. Get 1 pinch Ground star anise
  17. Prepare Garnish
  18. Prepare 1 Spring onion
  19. Make ready 1 Chili
  20. Take 1 sesame seed
Instructions to make Sticky Pork Balls:
  1. Preheat oven medium to hot, 180-220c
  2. Finely chop the Spring onion
  3. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.Work the pork mince, this releases gluten and helps the balls stay together when cooking.
  4. Shape into rounds and put into freezer for 5 mins. You should get around 12 ping pong sized balls
  5. Finely chop garlic & ginger
  6. Add all sauce ingredients in a small bowl
  7. Fry the balls on a medium heat until brown and finish of in preheated oven for 10 mins or until cooked through
  8. Take out from oven and on a high heat fry balls with the sauce until it has thickened and coats the balls. Becareful not to burn the sauce it will turn bitter
  9. Garnish and serve with Rice , noodles or a salad for a summer lunch
