- Wash and add the add both the Dal's to the pressure cooker. Add turmeric, salt, onions, tomato, green chillies, garlic, ginger and 2 cups of water. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
- Now heat pan with ghee or oil and add the cumin and 1 dry red chilli and asafoetida. Switch off the flame and add Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder. Pour this immediately to the dal and mix well. Add chopped coriander leaves and squeeze half a lemon. Mix and serve hot.
- For Ghee Roti👉 I have taken 1 cup of wheat flour and added a tsp of Ajwain and some salt. Now add 3-4 tbsp of ghee and knead the dough. Sprinkle water and knead to a stiff and smooth dough. Keep aside for 10 minutes and then make small portion. Roll into circle,apply ghee again, fold and roll into parathas. You can also make like laccha parathas. Done!
