Moong Dal Sultani is a Hyderabadi dish which was very famous among Sultans of Hyderabad. Method to prepare Moong Dal Sultani. Boil both Arhar dal and Moong Dal separately. The 'Sultani Dal' is a rich variation of Arhar, concocted by a very famous rakabdar of Lucknow, Pir Ali, fit to be served on the dastarkhwan of the kings.

  1. Boil the both lentil and smash with red chilli
  2. Then,take oil in pan
  3. Add ginger,dry chilli,cumin,asafoetida and whole garam masala in it
  4. Tempt it and add the smash lentil in same oil.
  5. Then,stir it and mix with the milk
  6. Next,add curd also in pan
  7. After put curd and milk in pan
  8. Stir the lentil in low flame without make lumbs
  9. Next,add malai and all spices in it
  10. Then,add salt and sugar in it
  11. Then,add saffron milk in lentil and mix well
  12. Lastly,add ghee in pan and stir well
  13. After complete boiling turn off gas
  14. Put a burnt charcoal in a bowl and keep on the lentil
  15. Put ghee on charcoal and cover it with lid during 20min
  16. It gives nice aroma in lentil.
  17. Sprinkle the green chilli on it and serve it in bowl.
