    1. Grease loaf tin and line with parchment sheet. Preheat oven for 15 minutes - - 2. In bowl rub butter and flour together. Add punch of salt rub until it come to the stage of bread crumbs. - - 3. Add sugar and cherries. Break the egg.
    1. Add vanilla essence. Mix together by adding milk if necessary add extra milk to give it a dropping consistency. Don't add too much it change to runny stage. - - 5. Bake in the oven at 180 degree C/Gas 4 until risen well and the colour should change golden brown. It takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. - - 6. Once cake done cool on wire rack and slice it.
