Unlike other jams, such as strawberry or raspberry, orange marmalade has a slight zest to it from the citrus component.

- Get 1 kg Nagpur oranges
- Get 500 gr sugar
- Get 200 ml water
- Get 1 tsp lemon juice
- Get 1/4 orange rind (very strong flavour for Nagpur oranges.)
- Take 1/2 pinch salt

Steps to make Orange Marmalade/Jam:
- Peel the oranges and remove all the seeds. Long slit the orange wedge on the fleshy part and remove the seeds
- Put all the oranges in the blender,add the sugar,and blend it.
- Scrape all the white part of the peel and finely chop the rind.(Can use one full orange rind if it's other oranges)
- Take a wide vessel and turn on the heat. Add the blended orange, water,salt,rind. Add the lemon juice once it comes to boil and keep stirring very frequently. (Add a pinch of powdered cinnamon if you like the flavour)
- After the colour starts changing and it's bubbling..stir continuously till you get a jam like texture.
- Let it cool and transfer it into an air tight glass jar or container and store it in the refrigerator.
