- Get 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes

- Prepare 1/2 tsp dried basil
- Take 1 tsp dried oregano

- Take 14 oz water, use the can from the crushed tomatoes, half of the can
Steps to make Simple Pasta Sauce:
- In a large stock pot heat pot over medium heat.
- Add in olive oil and heat oil for 30 seconds then add garlic.
- Cook garlic for 30 seconds.
- Stir in tomato paste. Cook for one minute stirring while it's cooking.
- Add in spices and salt. Stir well. Cook 30 seconds.
- Pour in wine and cook two minutes to cook out the alcohol content. Stir well.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and the water. Lower heat to a simmer and cover.
- Let simmer for one hour. Stir occasionally.
- Use the sauce for over your pasta dishes. I use this in my baked pasta dish. Recipe will be attached.
