  2. Add Salt, Green Chillies, buttermilk and Ginger. Grind the mixture to fine paste.
  3. (For those who want to use fermanted batter). Keep it aside and let it rest for 2 to 3 hours. Than add 2 Tbsp oil, 1 sachet Eno and fold it nicely.
  4. (For those who want to use unfermanted batter). Keep it aside and let it rest for 20 to 30 minutes. Add 2 Tbsp oil, 1 sachet Eno and fold it nicely.
  5. Steam the idlis for 4 to 5 minutes
  6. Serve hot with chutney or Sambhar
  7. Note- Instead of Yellow Mung Dal. (Rajma, split green mung dal, Masoor dal, Mix dal etc can be used)
