The ingredients needed to make Traditional Ham !!:
  1. Take 1 Ham (not spiral sliced.)
  2. Prepare 12 oz Can of Pineapple slices
  3. Prepare 8 oz Jar of Maraschino Cherries
  4. Take 15 Whole Cloves
  5. Prepare 30 Toothpicks !!
  6. Prepare 1 Roasting Pan with lid
  7. Make ready 1 Turkey Baster
  8. Make ready 1 small SHARP knife
  9. Take 1/2 cup Sugar
  10. Prepare 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  11. Prepare 1/2 cup Honey
  12. Prepare 3/4 cup drippings from ham
  13. Make ready 2 tbsp Butter
  14. Get 2 tbsp Honey
  15. Take 1/2 cup drippings from ham
  16. Prepare 1 can Peach Halves

They're technically raw, but they don't need to be refrigerated, sort of like. + You'll get something comfortingly traditional with these award-winning slices of ham. Steps to make Traditional Ham !!:
  1. Score the ham in a diamond shaped pattern using the small, sharp knife. Place the lines 2-3 inches apart & about a half inch deep !!
  2. Insert the cloves into the scores you've cut… or into the center of each diamond, whatever you choose ! Just make sure to place them evenly.
  3. Place the Pineapple Slices on the ham using toothpicks to secure them. About 2 toothpicks for each slice !! Set aside Pineapple Juice. We'll be needing it shortly :)
  4. Place one cherry in the middle of each pineapple slice, using a toothpick to secure it :) set aside cherry juice !! We're gonna need that too.
  5. Place your pretty ham in the roasting pan… pour the pineapple and cherry juice we set aside earlier over the whole thing !! Baste well with the juices every 10-15 minutes until you begin the glaze.
  6. Baking time will vary. For an uncooked ham, the temperature needs to be about 155° inside when finished.
  7. About 45 minutes before the ham is done, combine sugar, brown sugar, honey, & ham drippings to make glaze.
  8. Pour 1/3 of the glaze over your ham, then return to the oven.
  9. Bake for the remaining 45 minutes, basting your ham with the remaining glaze every 10 minutes.
  10. Brown the peach halves in a skillet with the 2 tablespoons of honey, the 2 tablespoons of butter & 1/2 cup of ham drippings.
  11. Arrange around ham to serve !! Dig in :)
