The ingredients needed to make Mango Kheer:
- Prepare litre Milk:1.5
- Prepare 3/4 cups rice (soaked for 4-5hrs)
- Prepare 2 Green cardamons
- Take 4-6 tbsp Sugar
- Take 3 tbsp Condensed milk
- Prepare 1-2 small pieces of Burfi/khoya
- Get 1 tbsp Kewra water
- Get Mango cubes for garnish
- Prepare 1/2 cup Mango Puree
- Get Almonds and pistachios chopped:for garnish
Mango Kheer is a quick and easy to make dessert, filled with the goodness of Mango pulp. As summers are in so is the mango season, you can make this Kheer and cherish after your everyday. This Mango Rice Kheer is a Rice Kheer meets mango version and has everything you love about the rice kheer. The elachi n saffron flavor, the perfectly cooked bits of basmati rice and thick n creamy milk.
Instructions to make Mango Kheer:
- Put milk to boil with cardamons,once boil comes add soaked rice and cook on very slow flame for at least an hour and keep stirring in between.
- Use hand whisk or handblender to mix and blend the rice until rice are soft enough and blend completely.
- Add sugar and condensed milk.
- Adjust the sweetness as per your family's liking. I add burfi and condensed milk so I add the sugar accordingly.
- Once the Kheer gets thick and nicely cooked add kewra water and mix the mango puree and mix it well.
- Dish out and let it cool. Garnish with nuts and mango chunks.
- P.S: cook on slow flame and for a good time to give a nice color and consistency to the kheer. - Also first add 4tbsp sugar then condensed milk and burfi,if needed then add more sugar as per your taste
