Instructions to make Chitrakoot:
  1. knead paneer, khoya, and sugar well
  2. mix flour with baking powder, add to paneer mixture make into a smooth dough
  3. make lime sized balls from the dough shape these balls into diamonds about 1/2inch thick
  4. make syrup out of sugar and water
  5. fry in oil or ghee till dark brown
  6. soak in syrup for 1 1/2 hours
  7. take out drain and roll in castor sugar
  8. serve at room temperature
