  1. Heat oil in a pan
  2. Add jeera, tejpatta,heeng
  3. Now add sliced onion,saute till golden brown
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste..saute for 1 minute
  5. Add onion paste and tomato paste…cook for 5 minutes
  6. Now add turmeric powder,coriander powder and red chilli powder and cook for 5 minutes
  7. Now add grounded peas and salt….mix well and cook for another 10 -15 minutes
  8. Add green peas whole and fry on high flame for 5 minutes
  9. Now add 4 cups of water and bring to boil
  10. Cook till the peas becomes tender
  11. Finally add Garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and a little spring leaves if available
  12. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti
