- Take rice cooker ware on the gas flame add oil in cookware heat oil add 2 bowl of water leave it to boil add rice cook till half rice cooked
- Now add sugar and jaggery now cook 1minutes on high flame then cook on low flame till rice is full cooked
- Add soaf dry coconut saugi on rice now cook 1minutes minute off the flame leave it for 2minutes mix it well our jaggery rice is ready serve with dry fruits
Belonging to a Punjabi family, I had sweet rice all my life and I just loved them. However, I never knew how to cook them until I got married. The amount of jaggery depends on your sweet tooth. If you require more, increase the quantity of the jaggeryand vice versa. Ghee too can be increased to get a rich taste to the jaggery rice.
